I heard that Kristin Krause (Taylor's sister) has been committed to PSU, maybe a month ago. I just want somebody to confirm this because no one mentioned that before. I'm also not sure about her position in college, maybe DS.

I'm also not sure about her position in college, maybe DS. I haven't seen anything about this. She is not listed as committed on the East Coast Power Volleyball site. For those of you not familiar with ECPV, here's a quick summary from its website:

I haven't seen a lot of Taylor Krause, but what I have seen is impressive. She may be a dark horse for Libero. I base this on Dom was her warm up partner. Neither let a ball hit the floor and they weren't all gimmees. I saw Taylor dive under the net to return one of Dom's passes.

According to prepvolleyball and nyline we are getting three heady back row players in 2016: Krause, White, Farrell. The coaching staff continues to bring in players with great attitudes and skills.

Emily Demure is a 6-2 S/OH/MB from Granite Bay HS (CA) and Rage VBC/Gold Cal Jrs. Her mother, Melanie Demure was Mrs. California Galaxy in 2013. Emily started out as a RS/MB as a freshman with 179 kills hitting .375. Now she sets and hits. She seems to have flown under the radar of prepvolleyball but Russ Rose finds these hidden gems on a regular basis. BTW Kendall White, another 2016 commit is ranked as #38 Senior Ace and has AA potential at Libero.

Versatility is a sometimes under appreciated skill in today's world of increased specialization. Hope it serves her well at Penn State.
