You are correct nyline. When I clicked on the youtube video it indicated tomorrow, Tuesday, at 9:00 am PT. I could understand them being confused if it was on the other side of the world about what day it is in the US. But this tournament is in Mexico, basically the same time zone.
Quote from article:
"Some teams here have been training together for months and some for years. For that reason, the U.S. is always a bit of an underdog at this competition.”

I notice that Chloe is far and away the shortest player on the team aside from the libero.
She is quite upfront about her height -- I recall an interview somewhere where she started by saying "I'm one of the" and finished the thought with "I'm the shortest . . . " She doesn't pretend otherwise -- and her career to date suggests she doesn't need to.
And MSU went all the way to Canada (OK, just a couple miles lol) for Bailey. I believe she was at Marquette first. There was also the one with the hairband (ha ha) Caroline Knopp who played front row for MI for 2 years (had 3.02 K/S in 2015; had a career high 4 BL in one match; led the team in K/dig double-doubles (11), etc. etc.) before going to FL as L for her last two years.
Reminds me also of players like Detering and Courtney who had strong setting backgrounds as well as hitting; Coach seems to like to see what they do the summer when they arrive.
Chloe played in the second and third sets of this match. Unfortunately the stream broke at the end of the second set so I was unable to see her play in the third set. Her statistics show 4 kills on 10 attacks with 2 errors. I'm hoping she will be another Caroline Knop who at 5'8" was a six rotation player at Michigan and later was an outstanding libero at Florida. I think Chloe's listing at 5'9" may be optimistic.
