Congrats to the football team after their 38-3 victory over Maryland. Didn't Maryland almost beat OSU last week; and OSU destroyed Michigan, who destroyed PSU....... I heard that USC may be looking at James Franklin..... We'll have to see where PSU goes bowling. Later As was aptly observed in the broadcast-why would anyone leave PSU for USC nowadays? Season a little disappointing but happy for the Seniors who gave us excellent results over their careers.

I've visited the Kentucky football forum on rivals.com twice. It seems they'd rather talk Sandusky than football. I hope Franklin runs up the score on them.

Franklin has never hesitated to rub salt in wounds. I did not see Kentucky play this year so it would be silly to try to predict a result. There are a number of PSU players that would benefit from playing well in this game. I would hope that the team is well prepared and gives its best effort.

Oh well.
Amazing what value there is to being able to run out the clock with a competent running game.

Unbelievable call on first series of game Franklin must have a direct line to Tomlin on stupidity.

WR coach Corley was fired today. I hope Franklin doesn't stop there.

Well the receivers were pretty bad this year. In previous years our receivers caught the ball even when covered and made our QB audacious. This year it was just the opposite.

He had previously been at Army. When Seider was brought in, Franklin made Corley the WR coach (a position in which he had no experience) and made Seider the RB coach. Franklin, unintentionally, set up Corley to fail. I feel bad for the guy, but Seider is an excellent recruiter in Florida and we need to keep him. It sucks for Corley, but life isn't fair. Hopefully, he will land on his feet.

Unbelievable call on first series of game Franklin must have a direct line to Tomlin on stupidity. I agree that was a very bad call, but not because of where the ball was, but rather because the Penn State offense had looked out-of-wack on all three plays. So why, did Franklin (or Rahne, or both) think the offense was suddenly going to calm down and play well on a high-stakes, high-pressure fourth down surprise play deep in their own territory?
