Ethan, I've just had 4 blank posts appear from you. Can you say why this might be happening? It's happened before but you didn't offer any explanation. As the moderator i/c of this forum, could you please look into it? Thanks very much. David James |

David, I’m not exactly sure why the posts would be showing up blank. They’re tweets that I included without comment, but they’re showing up fine for me on both my phone and desktop. I’ll look into it. Thanks for letting me know!

Well, that is certainly a fresh take on a league, your team can change from week to week. Not sure how fans can get interested in a team when they change like that. It doesn't make sense to me. As for myself, I will root for a team with the same players, that become a de facto family, in the sense that they are your family, and you will root for them, win, lose, or draw. That being said, I hope they will be televised games so I can see for myself. |

I don't think you can mix individual results with team play. There will invariably be conflicts among players. Setters in particular will be conflicted by the individual standings.

Merits of the decision choices aside, there is sooooo much money at stake for the B1G schools, that it's difficult for me to envision them canceling football or basketball. Sandy Barbour was quoted somewhere as saying that the cancellation of sports would cost Penn State between the high 8-figures and low 9-figures. Net losses would, of course, be somewhat lower than that,but regardless, that's alot of coin. |
