I don't like the new design, but I hated the previously one... So, progress.

Stanford just swept Texas =16, -21 and -22. Texas was outhit .340 to .125. Hugh difference. One Texas player hit .500 (6-1-10), (and that wasn't Madi Skinner), but no one else was over .150. Tho the difference in aces was only 1, Stanford put Texas oos a lot during the match which led to the poor hitting percentage. Stanford out-dug Texas 40-33. Wasn't impressed by Texas defense; there was a pass by Stanford that was very tight, Kami Miner was in the front row; she went up and dumped it for a pt and the middle for Texas didn't even recognize the possible dump and just watched.
A Texas fan mentioned that Texas lost 3 matches in pre-conf play last year and won the natty, (which included a 3-0 lost to Stanford in pre-conf play). It will be interesting to see how this Texas team does. I don't get the impression that this is as good a team as last year. But then again, I ain't too good at prediction the future. We'll see.
On a totally different note, Ella Swindle, the Texas setter, is 6'3" tall. That's a tall setter.
