ACC WVB will resume, but the last time I visited the ACC site, no 2020 schedule even had a placeholder. Meanwhile, teams I checked, including UNC, have a sporadic schedule. UNC starts IIRC 9/24. Go Phegs.
In the SEC, they do have a 2020 schedule on their site. Consisting of the mid-October Tennessee-KY match.

16 at large selections for the tournament. That could mean 8 for B1G and PAC-12 combined and 8 for all other conferences. There is going to be some bitter debates about who should be in the big dance.

The regular season will be from Jan. 22 to April 10. Tourney selections will be made on April 11. As stated by pennstate1973 above, the tourney will consist of 48 teams, 16 of which will be at-large bids. Finals will be April 23-25.

I wonder if the tournament will have byes. It is easy to get to two teams with a 64-team tournament, but how does it work for a 48-team tourney?
64 > 32 > 16 > 8 > 4 > 2 > 1
48 > 24 > 12 > 6 > 3 > Oops!

I don't know if anyone here cares. Stanford has told football players if they push for revenue sharing and other financial demands, Stanford will do away with DI athletics and go the route of Ivy League where there are no athletic scholarships.
The administration feels strongly academics over athletics and athletics at Stanford must remain at an amateur level.

I wonder if that isn't the future: A split into revenue-sharing/pro-style schools, and Ivy-model schools.

Stanford demonstrates that it is possible to put education first and still compete at a high level in athletics. Should we assume that Stanford football funds the other sports?
