I don't know, Pritchard's 6-2, and Rollins is 6-0 -- not shrimpy, but not what I'd call "huge."  (I kid; I tease; I jest). |

I think Pritchard will be a huge upgrade.
I've seen Rollins have some massive games, but she's not consistent.
I could see Rollins playing more of a platooning role with Fitzpatrick.
Also, hopefully Parker can get some rest.
I feel she's been overused this past 2 seasons, and in longer matches have noticed her production drop off.
It would be nice to see someone come in for her so she is better rested, and more productive late in matches.

How Parker has been used is consistent with how Courtney, McClendon and other OH1s have been used at PSU, rarely getting a rest, often taking the most swings of anyone on the team. Part of the reason I thought I noticed was they would be the best of bad options when a not so good pass comes the setter's way. I likened it to 'taking out the garbage'...has to be done, inescapable, but not glamourous. Also leads to a somewhat lower hitting percentage than one might expect. But Coach does seem to rest OH1s as necessary at the serving line; I've never had a clear sense of whether this is actually about rest or more about some of the serving strength from the bench.

From what I gather, NCAA v. Alston sets the table for additional legal action in the future that will hopefully address student-athlete compensation more fully.

Here’s your first look at Erika Pritchard and Adanna Rollins in a Penn State uniform. It appears Pritchard will wear No. 5 for the Nittany Lions this season, while Rollins will don No. 1.
