Thanks to Nyline for letting me know I accidentally put August 29 instead of June 29 in the headline when I published it early this morning. I fixed it. If that were the case, we would already be a few days into the season.

There's not much interest here about this topic so I can safely rant. In a two week period Stanford plays Florida, Texas, Minnesota, Penn State, Nebraska, and Kentucky.
This past spring was a complete waste for the Stanford team. There are no experienced players other than one MB who is coming off knee surgery.
I see no possibility of Stanford winning any of these six matches. I don't know what coach Hambly was thinking. 2022 would make more sense for this non-conference schedule.

Thanks, Etan, your right, definitely a sport like no other. I took my grandson to a PSU-Rutgers match when he 15 years old and he was amazed by it, he loves it to this day.

I don't believe this past Spring was a complete waste for Stanford. It offered competition and training during a period when it was sparse in Palo Alto. Also forced the players into uncomfortable situations, which IMO, helped their development.
