I'm only about 20 minutes into this discussion/interview, but had to stop to urge everyone to watch it. I can't believe that pete1919's original post sparked such little discussion about Rose, the administration, and the players. Wow. I wasn't trying to post the interview, just a link. But it is easy to find. WOW! No punches pulled. Russ blasted Sandy Barbour, the players and their parents!

I wish I could find the right meme to go with Emmert's lack of self-awareness:
Yes, we were driving the Mac truck down a busy thoroughfare with a blindfold on. But then, someone observed that we were driving a Mac truck down a busy thoroughfare with a blindfold on. And we can all agree, once it was pointed out to us, that we can do better, but it was a historical accident because we had always done so. And these are the kinds of discussions that are good to have, and we hope we can have more of them.

He was grilled. I hope Sally Jenkins or someone similar fillets him as well.

First posted by Ethan, but this was an April Fools joke, folks. I nearly flipped when I saw it, momentarily forgetting today's date. She's on the Italian National Team. And she's a highly paid professional. But she knows Elliott and his wife.

(Plus, he got engaged within the last two or three weeks, so busy/happy times for Brian Toron!)

I was just watching a wrestling podcast (FRL) and they displayed a chart of which NCAA sports were most involved in allegations of rules violations over the past three years. The chart showed that, on average, women's volleyball represented 10% of all allegations. That percentage essentially tied women's volleyball with women's track and field for third most investigated sports behind only men's basketball and football!
I found that to be surprising.
