16 service errors and we still win. Gorrell and White played great (SENIORS!) as did Blossom and Gray and Parker (except for service errors, but all the PSU players seemed to have that bug). I haven't seen the stats, so don't know about the others.

Phew. I thought Cincy would be tough but that was way too close. Statistically, this match should not have been this close. We need to clean up the service errors and get ready to defend another all-universe OH tomorrow. Yes, I am assuming Stanford wins over Utah. |

We need to clean up the service errors and get ready to defend another all-universe OH tomorrow. Yes, I am assuming Stanford wins over Utah. Here's my way of looking at it. Compile all the points. Score 109-90 (someone might check my math...not my major). PSU never collapsed. Cincy collapsed in set 4 B1G time and sorta in set 2. No question they were a handful. No question WVB gets played in sets and not overall points. But I think it can be argued that Cincy's Cinderella moment was beyond its grasp. |

Just finished watching Stanford scrape through on catch up - they're beatable, no doubt about it. If we play consistently to our highest level, we will win. Come on Russ, get 'em ready! |
