Bit harsh that, Yogi. How good are PSU going to be when they are mostly seniors, like Stanford are now?

Hats off to Stanford. They should easily win another championship if they maintain that level of play. I am shocked at how we were just utterly dominated...wow

Bit harsh that, Yogi. How good are PSU going to be when they are mostly seniors, like Stanford are now? I agree with this, Dave about Penn State's prospects for the future. Stanford's senior class is a great one -- very possible that they will end up with three National Championships (though that will still rank second to Penn State's 2010 class which won Four). But this year's Penn State team is mostly sophomores. Next year and 2022 they will be much better. Still, this was a tough loss.

Bit harsh that, Yogi. How good are PSU going to be when they are mostly seniors, like Stanford are now? Not trying to be harsh but being real. We were physically dominated and Stanford broke our spirit with their first set comeback. This loss is not so much about our youth but the fact that we were physically outmatched.

I don't think Stanford broke our spirit. I think they are just that much more physically talented. And huge. Plummer and Fitzmaurice -- 6-6. Schwartzenbach -- 6-5 maybe? Who else.

One related thing I'd like to point out: Penn State never quit!

One related thing I'd like to point out: Penn State never quit! Never implied that we quit as I agree that the girls did not quit. However, we lost our belief that we can win and that translates to losing our confidence. There are times when you know that the opponent is better than you and that is what I mean when I say they broke our spirit.

It was a fun season. Team overcame most issues and exceeded expectations. Development of several players was impressive. Stanford was a hill that was too high to climb.
Thanks to our Seniors for their service and representation of the University.

This is getting real ugly. Was a great season by Russ with what he had to work with but not enough horses in the stable to compete with the elites. Excuse med but who can compete w//Stanford, m/b Wisc?
