I was only able to watch one match some time ago. At the time I posted Hampton didn't do so well in the libero role. It was only one match so I thought maybe it was an anomaly. I thought the passing and floor defense were the two key aspects holding PSU back from being much better. It looks like that may still be the issue.
Another factor is Purdue and OSU have some talented players. This may be the new normal. Moving forward will Penn State WVB fans continue to enthusiastically support a .500 team?

I think we know the answer to that: In the short-term (2 seasons), I think the answer is yes. If a streak of 3 or more seasons of middle-to-bottom of the pack ensues, there will still be a devoted following, but not as big as the past decade or so. At least, looking at other teams and other sports, that's what I see.
