Just like i think that PSU playing in the first round would have good as it would have given PSU one more game to play. Oh well. It is what it is. |

I don't know how to assess PSU in this match: no matches since mid-March, so they had to be rusty, but A&T certainly not at the talent level of Penn State. My best take: PSU won; on to Texas.

NC bad. However, wins like this, where bench players get some floor time are good for morale and confidence. The real tournament never starts until the Regionals anyway. Still would have been interesting to see Rice.
