I imagine that Texas' NIL deals will only grow having won the Title. With NIL being so crucial now, I'm not sure how any team can compete with that for the best freshmen/transfers moving forward.

One thing I will say about driving a sponsored car -- everyone knows it is an athlete driving recklessly when you see a Tesla with the "Inch & Co" logo accelerating to 50 mph up Bigler Road. Lots of folks drive recklessly on campus, but I was pretty surprised the other day when I saw one of these cars going too fast with lots of pedestrians around.

^^^^^^^^^ If, in fact, the speeding Tesla was an NIL Tesla (which we don't know), I would hope 1) word of this sort of behavior would get to James Franklin, and 2) that when it did, the following might occur:
Franklin: "Tesla guys all here? Ok, c'mon into my office. I'd like to explain a few things."
I am not particularly confident that either #1 or #2 would take place.

My son works for Tesla Autopilot so he gets a company car. When he showed me the acceleration a Tesla can do I almost had a heart attack. It's a car for a young kid who has a need for speed.
