BTW, for all who type her name, it is MICHA.
(IIRC, shortened version of her dad Michael's name.) But not as in MEEEECHA, as the SA official who kept handing her more and more hardware after the US Team rout at the Pan Amercian Games a few years back kept pronouncing. Best server MEEEECHA. Best setter MEEEECHA. MVP, MEEEECHA. lol.
Prior to Jordy's injury, the play-by-play guys were bemoaning her inability to get the MBs involved. Micha's half and a match seemed to resolve that, and it stuck after Jordy returned. Interesting. She def left the team better than she found it while she was in.
