Wow! Sold out for a scrimmage! Clearly they are the number one fan base in college volleyball. Hawaii might give them a run for their money -- particularly when you consider the alternative outdoor activities in Hawaii vs. Nebraska. But it certainly is among the very top, if not the top. |

I assume that will be recorded as a loss for Tulsa, no? (Because if it was cancelled due to Nebraska players, the whole invitational would be cancelled, I assume). |

I tried watching a couple of student-produced matches on BTN+ and there is work to be done. Maryland's camera work is atrocious and Ohio State has neither a commentator nor a score display, so you get to guess the score.
I hope that PSU's production is lot's better.

Maryland's camera work is atrocious and Ohio State has neither a commentator nor a score display, so you get to guess the score. I hope that PSU's production is lot's better. Maybe when the conferences merge and we have a mega BIG conference, they'll let the West coast people handle production. The PAC streams are usually pretty good. I've only seen one really bad one. |

I've always wished that Penn State would combine one actual pro with one student -- which would both provide a learning opportunity for the student, and improve overall quality in most cases. But that would require either the pro volunteering their time or PSU allocating budget $$ to pay the pro. That hasn't seemed to be in the cards, to date.

That's quite a comment considering how good JWO has been. Tho he may be talking about JWO at Nebraska and not about JWO later on in her career. |
