Service errors were frustrating. Indeed. ILL had 8 aces on 6 serve errors and PSU had 5 aces on 12 service errors. |

I haven't seen this match yet. I don't think I want to.
After the first match of the season, I had mused that I was hoping for a 14-6 Big Ten season. Today's loss makes that a definite "hope." To achieve that record PSU must win all four Michigan matches, upset one of Wisconsin, Ohio State, or Minnesota, and then close out with a win over Iowa. That, or some other combination of upset wins and losses, could happen. But it is going to be a tough task to take 6 of the final 8!

I don't get it, they are an enigma wrapped inside a conundrum. They sweep Ohio State and Minnesota, battle Wisconsin to 5 sets, and then lose at home to Illinois a team that the night before went to 5 sets against Rutgers. So I haven't a clue which team will show up. But I will still root for them and the magical roller-coaster ride they take us on.

One thing is for certain, They had better get it fixed and fast because as the coach points out there are no easy matches in the BIG and they still have a ways to go to make the NCAA tournament. So this is not the time to fall asleep at the wheel.
