It would be appropriate for a service error here.

Challenge by PSU. RR doesn't just do a challenge to do it.

Out coached and out played. This program has some serious soul searching to do in the off season.
Congrats to Serena and Pitt.

I only watched the early part of the match. The scores indicate a close contest against the #3 seed. No program is going to make the final four every year through eternity. Right now I understand fans' frustration. I feel coach Rose got the most possible out of the talent he had to work with.
IMO the only route to getting back to final four level in future years is keeping up with top teams in recruiting. It's hard to do that on a consistent basis.

This ^^^^ (with a slight change to the recruiting part -- it's going to take both traditional recruiting, and adept and successful transfer-portal skills. Oh, and NILs.)

The scores were close, but I don't think the match really was. I would also disagree that the coach gets the most out of his talent any longer. The current era of underperformance began, oddly, with the 2014 recruiting class, generally ballyhooed as the best in the history of NCAA women's volleyball. That class won one championship: as freshman standing on the shoulders of upperclass teammates like Nia Grant, Dom Gonzalez, Lacey Fuller, Megan Courtney, and Micha.

This 2014 class seemed to pause our serious recruiting efforts for some time. Who would commit to play at PSU in the class of 2015 with the “greatest class of all time” ahead of them?We were basically stuck with that crew. Then, the next strong class just didn’t have it. That’s what happens when you recruit in waves. See Stanford around 2012-13-14. They had a #1 class (with Inky) that just never put it together. I think our recruiting has improved recently. There are strong players in each class that are contributing. The team will be interesting moving forward. For whatever reason, this senior class was just a puzzle piece short, and I’m not sure I understand why. Last season was pin hitting, and Pritchard and Rollins were upgrades compared to last season, but somehow we weren’t any better. Serve receive got worse. The connection with Kait Hord regressed somehow. I don’t know what it is/was, but I really do appreciate the guts of Blossom, Parker, Hampton. They really played all out this season, and I will always have a ton of respect for them. I wish they had a better story to tell at their end of their PSU careers, but… they still have another year of eligibility if they want it!
