Volleytalk is all abuzz about Ali. She hit well above .400 for the full match and had no errors in the final three sets while hitting above .600. It was an amazing performance!
As you would expect over there, some are crediting Carlini for Ali's play.

Why did Karch replace Frantti on the roster for Canada? Pre-planned rotation of players to evaluate?
It's surprising to me Carlini didn't give up on USA volleyball.

IIRC Carlini had an Olympic Flag above her bed while at WI. I don't think she'll stop until she scores a Gold.
