Here's a recap of Penn State's 3-2 win over Oregon tonight at Maturi Pavilion. Maddy Bilinovic had a career-high 22 digs, while Kash Williams had 16 kills for the second night in a row. So who thinks they jump into the Top 10 in Rankings? You're kidding right? The way the AVCA poll works, they'll probably movre up 2 maybe 3 spots. You can depend on the AVCA poll to be subjective and nonsensical.  And to be fair, it is early times. |

The PSU back court, Maddy and Grimes, got a fair bunch of kudos by the announcers. Maddy with 22 digs,a career high, and Grimes with 11. Grimes' total is almost equal with Maddy's considering that she is on the court 3/6 of the time and Maddy 5/6 or maybe 11/12 of the time? Not sure how to figure that.

I'm stunned in the best way possible! You're stunned? Think about Poor Kevin and the Oregon Head Coach  Just thinking about those who were saying we would struggle this season. I have to admit, with the 2021 players we lost, that I thought 2022 was going to be tough, so massive credit to KSC who has put together a talented group of players and coached them in a way that's produced a great team spirit. Absolutely brilliant to be able to watch live in England now that the Big10 is available here via Volleyball World TV. The time difference means lots of late nights for me, but who cares when we get wins like that. Can't wait for the next match!! |

I'm sincerely curious. Some PSU fans seem consumed with cries of "disaster!" or "the sky is falling!" or "We're doomed!"
How long have these ideas on the team been around?
