Regarding Taylor - IIRC, she landed weird during last night’s match point. Hopefully Katie playing this morning doesn’t mean anything injury wise. With Katie Clark coming off the bench, PSU will still be okay I think. Katie has played some nice matches when needing to off of the bench. According to the stats, she had 9 blocks in the match today. They also say that Holland had none, which makes no sense. |

Wow. With Hurta in front row and Elisaia at the serving line...well that could create some serious confusion for opponents. Hurta can set or attack. Earlier this week, Coach referred to her abilities as both S and Opp. So interesting! And she looked amazingly at home out there.
And Macy!! Yay!!!

Katie is winning me over as the head coach. Three things have particularly impressed me. I like how she is using her strong DS group. I like that she delegates to her assistants. I very much like that she took advantage of these matches to give her backups an opportunity to play.
You could see that everyone playing gave the team a lift in what would otherwise have been a routine beat down of an overmatched opponent. Lots of happiness shown for those who scored their first points in a PSU uniform!
