From GoPSU.com:The undefeated and ninth-ranked Penn State women's volleyball team opens Big Ten play this weekend after going 11-0 against non-conference opponents to start the season. The Nittany Lions host Indiana on Friday at 7 p.m., and then return to Rec Hall to host Michigan on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both matches will stream on B1G+. Penn State jumped up two spots in the most recent AVCA Coaches Poll after posting three-set wins over Howard, UAlbany, and Coastal Carolina at the Penn State Classic. The Lions are off to an 11-0 start for the first time since 2015 SERIES HISTORY - INDIANA
• Penn State is 58-1 in the all-time series with Indiana. The teams first played in 1982. • Indiana's lone win in the series came in four sets in 2010. This was the infamous Lost Weekend in which Penn State lost to both Indiana and Purdue. Penn State has won 18 straight matches against Indiana since that loss. • The Lions are 30-0 against the Hoosiers at Rec Hall. SCOUTING INDIANA
• Indiana is 7-5 following a 3-1 loss to then-No. 21 Western Kentucky. • The Hoosiers rank second in the Big Ten in aces with 55. Camryn Haworth is second in the conference individually with 22 aces. • Indiana was picked 13th in the Big Ten Preseason Poll.
