I watched the posted video highlights. Hames was in top form. She is Nebraska's best setter. According to the stats Evans with only six assists and Orr didn't play. Hames must have been running a 5-1 most of the time. Apparently Nebraska was more interested in beating PSU than playing around with a 6-2 and their setter of the future Orr.

I guess we should be grateful that PSU doesn't play Texas this year The scary thing about NEB is, how good would they be if they could get Hord hitting? She has not been hitting anywhere close to where she was at PSU. There seems to be no chemistry between the NEB setters and Hord. Bit ironic eh? Hord and Blossom were having connection issues the past 2-3 yrs, and I could never tell whose fault that was. I now believe that Hord was more the issue, but Blossom, being a great and fearless setter, really forced a lot of middle sets and made it work.
