According to Cassie Kuerschen and Anjelina Starck’s Instagram stories, Penn State women’s volleyball will debut sleeveless blue jerseys with white trim around the collar this season. The last few seasons, Penn State’s libero was the only player to wear a sleeveless blue jersey, though the team has worn sleeveless white jerseys occasionally since the 2020 season. Penn State is also written on the front of the jersey instead of the Nittany Lion logo above the numbers.

Today marks one month until Penn State volleyball’s season opener against Florida at Amalie Arena in the Road 2 Tampa Bay Invitational. I booked a flight and will be there covering the Florida and Georgia Tech matches.

Thanks for doing that Ethan. Should be exciting, competitive volleyball. Georgia Tech loses their superstar to graduation but they still will be a formidable opponent. I probably missed this somewhere on the board. What is the date of the first practice? I believe it's next week but I don't know what day.
From my observation through the years anything can happen the first weekend on the road. It is always a risk to go on the road the first weekend against teams that are capable of an upset. No longer can critics say PSU is playing it safe in non-conference.

Might mean something, might mean nothing, but it's interesting (at least to me) that Lina is listed strictly as a DS (vs. L/DS) on the official GoPSUsport roster. That said, as KSC has established that everyone will get a fair chance to earn their position, I get that pre-season rosters aren't final and things change/evolve.
