Hannah got shut down in the 3rd. She ended up hitting .250 (12-6-24) with Markley hitting .375 (11-2-24), Jess .062 (10-8-32), Taylor .333 (6-2-12) and Allie .211 (5-1-19).
Mac with 32 assists. Grimes and Jess had 11 digs apiece, Mac with 9 and Cassie with 6. No one else had more than 2 digs.

A couple thoughts.
1. Maddy. I'm wondering if Cassie had taken a hard fall somewhere in the last few days. She was in for serving only, if I saw that right. So Maddy would be next up. Suspect we'll know more.
2. From what we've been allowed to see (as of early morning hours, BTN had not posted the full video), I thought IL presented the fiercest B1G competition we've seen. They have so many really talented players, I almost (almost) feel sorry that things don't look better for them.
3. PSU in the past 10 years seemed to have problems with matches like this: biggie coming up on Saturday, can't seem to focus on Friday first. This year: no such problem. They did not appear to see this as a gimmee and they played some really fun-looking ball.
4. Zoe: I think Zoe had beaucoups opps to cement her place on the pin. I think we've moved to the next gen.
