FYI: With how small Kansas's gym is, tickets for Rounds 1 and 2 are sold out.
It's too bad since there were some interest from the PSU Alumni Association's Kansas City Chapter in attending.

With PSU playing Yale, who is buying the tickets? I doubt Yale has much of a volleyball following. What's the capacity of the Kansas gym? Maybe VB fans who don't follow PSU or Yale are interested in the match?

Maybe VB fans who don't follow PSU or Yale are interested in the match? Update -- Kansas will sell single session tickets tomorrow (Nov. 28) at 9am, pending availability. So far, only the "All-Session" tickets were being sold - Those are sold out. |

I recall back in the day Kansas men's basketball was a big-time sport which inspired me to look up the capacity of Allen Fieldhouse on campus. It looks like 16,300 current capacity.
Unfortunately they are playing at the women's volleyball gym with 2,265 capacity. It's a state of the art facility built in 2019 but not designed for big crowds.

Got a lot of friends from KU. They say it’s not such a bad drive from Omaha. I bet there’s going to be some Nebraskans there. Oh. And after playing in front of 97000 people; I’m assuming Omaha’s going to be a lot more chill than some other teams. Will be an interesting cast of teams.
