I don’t know if this is recency bias or for real… feel like Mendelson plays w more physical and mental agility than I’m used to seeing at MB. Not dissing Trammell who I love. But I’m seeing a different style and focus.

I think we're seeing the combination of athleticism and strength/power that made her a very highly sought-after basketball recruit as well as a top VB recruit. |

Maggie and Taylor definitely have different styles which is to our benefit. Izzy does a remarkable job (no surprise) of feeding them the perfect sets for each style they have. Set timing is everything with middles. They have been working hard at this and it shows. Coach Katie has been doing a great job of rotating them in at the right matchups to maximize their skills. Fun to watch. Bombs away. |
