It's really simple. If we can pass and serve, it's over. We have too much power.

I think it says something when volleyball is on "regular" NBC and the football game is streamed on Peacock.

I can see two possible messages (I imagine there are several more): 1) NBC wants to promote Peacock, because long-term it believes Peacock will earn it more money than regular NBC, or 2) It thinks women's volleyball will attract more audience now on regular NBC, and putting football in Peacock doesn't cost them much, if anything. (I think these are different analyses, but maybe just two ways of saying the same thing). Either way, it is remarkable to have WVB in NBC on a Saturday afternoon.

It's really simple. If we can pass and serve, it's over. We have too much power. I see it differently and not quite so simple. If both teams pass equally well I think Wisconsin has more offensive power than PSU. However I expect PSU will pass and dig better than Wisconsin.

“He wants you to find a way, and it’s not only connected to sports. I think the reason women come out of that program so much stronger is they realize that this is a metaphor for life. This is not going to be easy. Adulting isn’t always fun. Sometimes you just have to figure it out, and it doesn’t look pretty all the time. But if you’re scrappy and tenacious, you can get some really cool things done.”

Well, the volleyball will be delayed for 5-10 mins due to the football game running late. What a surprise. I'm hoping that NBC will hold off on the volleyball game and not start it until the football game is over.
