The game on the 15th--hopefully featuring PSU--has necessitated moving the Penn State-Wyoming wrestling dual meet to the BJC. Wrestling ticket-holders aren't happy, but seem to be understanding. Wrestling just needs to get Pat Kraft to build them their own facility. If he can pay $700M for Beaver Stadium, surely he can pay for another new facility just for wrestling. On the Rivals Penn State Wrestling forum, it was being said (a couple months ago) that Kraft has plans for a new Olympic training facility that PSU Wrestling and Volleyball Teams would share. Perhaps something similar to Ohio State's Covelli Center. Some of us may recall that Sandy Barbour also had similar plans pre-pandemic. I have no idea if this is true, but it would be cool. Something else that was said in that forum is that Kraft wants to move all Wrestling Duals to the BJC in the coming years. |

BJC will sell out for Iowa, Ohio State Oklahoma State, but not for last weekend's opponent, Drexel, or this season's closer, American. |
