Round 4 -- Tournament Results Posted Here:
KANSAS defeats USC 3-2
TEXAS defeats FLORIDA 3-2
NEBRASKA defeats WASHINGTON 3-1
MINNESOTA defeats HAWAII 3-1
Conference Strength: 2 teams from the BIG10 and 2 teams from the BIG12 advance to the Final Four!!!
It will be tough for any team to beat NE on their home court. I think MN has the best chance to do it, as they've don't it once already.

I guess all the coaches have some kind of superstitious habit(s). Russ with his pen twirling and Cook with the mints. |

I was so impressed w/the play of HI yesterday that i found myself sad to see them merely human against Minny today.

I was so impressed w/the play of HI yesterday that i found myself sad to see them merely human against Minny today. I was missing perspective when I watched Hawaii yesterday. 8M said something like they played out of their minds, and having never seen them; I did not know. They played well this evening, but the looked merely human, as you said.
I'm kinda hoping for a Nebraska-Minnesota final.

PAC fans would go nuts. That would be the 2nd BIG10 Final in 3 years. I betcha it would throw a wrench in the NCAA seeding for next year. It would force them to stack all the good BIG10 teams on one side of the bracket. |

Wow! Watching TX v FL 5th set. Score 7-6 TX when Florida nails a kill about a foot in bounds - line judge calls it out and no overrule by up official! Highway robbery!

Florida won the match at 15-12 a few points ago but due to a ball being called out against Florida at 7-6 Texas, that was almost 2 feet inbounds, Texas goes on to Semi-Finals. Florida got royally screwed today!!

I used to think Jerritt Elliot was a classy guy. Maybe he and I have something in common....

I think someone needs to do a background check on that linesman. Be interesting to see where his loyalties lie or if he made a bet for Texas. I see no other reason for him to miss that easy of a call. |
