Just looked at Volleytalk's Bluepenguin's RPI Futures. PSU just got by Stanford and we're still slated for 8 losses. Does that mean 13-7 in the B1G? Yikes!

My number is 4. They play Nebraska once at home to start season. They play Minnesota once on road to end season I don't see them getting swept by badgers. Maybe Illinois can take one of the two. Psu should beat everyone else. I'm trying to figure out how they would get to 7 losses with that schedule. Maybe they don't show up for a game. Still 7 losses. Don't see it in conference. Anything can always happen but I personally would take the under on 7

Even though Lutz is expected to play the next game, I still think we'll have a good chance to beat Stanford. If so, it'll be a very good indication of how far PSU could go this year. Hope Illinois fans will root for the fellow BIG.

Who's: Melissa Batie-Smoose - PSU #13 in week 1? Courtney Draper - PSU #14 in week 1? Joshua Lauer - PSU#11 in week 1? This is intriguing. I think the lowest rank I saw PSU receive in week 2 was 6 or 7--after a quick run through the spreadsheet. Wow. OSU's Carlston must really not like PSU. Just looked at his week 1 and 2 ballots. Seemed singular in his assessment, especially given our beat down of Stan reflected in week 2. Can't wait to see what he did this week.

Carlston moved PSU from 6 to 1 in one week. Odd, given his week 2 ranking.
