The Ladies pulled it out! Good guys win! After beating Stanford, I was very concerned about this match. A talented, but unranked, TAMU team with aggressive serves and a "can't lose" attitude, was just the thing PSU needed to show they can overcome adversity to beat the teams they are supposed to beat. Well done!!!

TAMU will be a tough opponent where ever, whenever and against whomever. I think they'll give Florida money's worth for the SEC title. Hans is a special player and she is only a sophomore. One thing PSU has to do much better is to track the setter's dump shots. It was a nerve wrecking, but it also showed the character of PSU players

I think that will do well for them to take that tough match. The passed the "Gut Check"!! Looking forward to A&M playing Stanford tomorrow if the stream works . I lost count of how many time A&M's setter dumped the ball successfully against us!So did Penn State. |

With Abby (Detering) having an off-night, I wonder how easily Russ could have implemented a more traditional rotation in that match? All's well that ends well, but I wonder if we could've sealed it in 4 to keep my BP lower. I agree with everyone who says that the way this match was played will go a long ways in keeping the girls focused for a grueling season and championship tournament. I'm just curious about the team's flexibility when more structure is needed on the floor.
