Is this the game thread? Can we get an on-site estimate as to crowd size? Will it exceed 4,000? I'm guessing the crowd was 3,678. Of course, to be honest, I'm also looking at the official scoresheet.

Is it possible that Farrell, Holcomb, Krause, May, and Putnicki are all in Coach Rose's doghouse? The short answer is "No, not possible." The longer answer is that May is a freshman playing behind two seniors who are both very, very good. You have to earn time and Penn State is still working out the kinks in its system, not trying to play everyone. Putnicki is a freshman playing behind behind two seniors who are both very, very good. You have to earn time and Penn State is still working out the kinks in its system, not trying to play everyone. Farrell and Krause apparently aren't playing as well at this point as White and Pierce and Sciorra and Halterman. Haven't earned the playing time. And with this 6-2 sysrem, not as many DS subs. Has absolutely nothing to do with doghouses. I don't know what the story is with Holcomb, but she participated in warmups tonight, and hadn't previously.

game 1 Yale just couldnt do anything.
game 2 Yale finally settled down and tooled our Stanford-thinking block. After a timeout Coach reminded our players to block lower and press.
game 3 we blocked the phishtrix out of everything.
Yale is a decent team and will make the tourney.
That may be the best team in this tourney, so lets not worry about the competition and enjoy the show our girls will put on.....Like Simone Lee's ridiculous Roof in game 3. Highlight Reel.

Starters for PSU: Frantti, Detering, Washington, Thelen, Weiskircher, Lee, and White. Great crowd, by the way -- I'd guess in excess of 2500, which for a 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning match is really good -- even on a football weekend.

Cat Cather again with the team, but again not dressed. I'm guessing that is to protect the possibility of a redshirt.

I'm not following the thread, so apologies if I repeat. Great block by Washington. Then kill. 3-0

So 2500+ for a 10am game on a Home football weekend. Yep Talking Head was right PSU WVB fever in full effect.

Heh...Washington & Lee! That's a high school minutes away from me. And a university. I'm easily amused at 10 a.m .

Another nice block by Haleigh. 6-1. Now 7-1 with the University Block (Washington & Lee)

Center line violation by WF trips up Haleigh. Looks to be fine. Scary.
