NYLINE eluded that TH's name was something like, Lane, Robin, Quinn or Alix......something like that. I have no idea. We always meet in a parking garage in D.C. Talking Head lurks in the shadows and uses one of those voice altering devices (in this case, it makes she/he sound exactly like Cardinal Richelieu), so I don't know what TH looks or sounds like. As to the image, TH recommended it (actually, insisted on it), but said "Do not judge a book by its cover, or a Talking Head by its image." It sounds more eloquent coming from Cardinal Richelieu. I think it looks like a guy, but I could be wrong. Admittedly, one doesn't see many guys (or gals) dressed in suits witth that shade of green, or shades in that shade of green. So who knows. It's a mystery. |

It's a mystery. Cardinal Richelieu? What does (did) he sound like? He's been dead for 375 years! My favorite Cardinal Richelieu was Charlton Heston in the mid-70s Musketeer movies, but this isn't a favorite movie thread. So anyway... Talking Head has become "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma" (at least we know what Churchill sounded like) even though we're not talking about countries. Should we simply refer to Talking Head as "Andi" as a tip of the hat to androgyny? This site has a lotta moving parts. |

It's a mystery. If you're referring to the garage I think you are, it's actually across the river from Georgetown/DC in the Rosslyn section of Arlington, VA. Between Nash and Oak Streets. BTW, I hope your meetings aren't as scary as the one in the movie... |
