Penn State hit .567 for the match. Great to see some of the bench players get some playing time today!

I'm looking forward to the posting on GOPSUSPORTS to see how much our cumulative averages have increased.

Video quality is excellent. So un-Huff Hall. Nice-sized crowd. Any announcements about post season tickets Nyline? (too early--don't wanna sound like the Huskers?) No. This wasn't the last home match.

In the battle of who in the BIG 10 allowed the least points in a match today, Penn State wins by only allowing 30 total points from Rutgers with Nebraska coming in a close second by only allowing 35 from Indiana.

The two players that didn't see playing time were Cather and Farrell. I didn't see Putnicki with the team at all?

I noticed Ali Frantti was used sparingly last night. It's great that Clare Powers and others got some court time. It made me think of Frantti's Senior Letter to herself--as an 80-year-old grandmother. She questioned whether, as an 80-year-old, she'll be able to walk. This suggests some of the wear-and-tear that top-level athletes subject themselves to; and that Ali is well-aware that there will be a price to pay for what she's doing out there, for the team and for our entertainment.
I'm glad that Ali got some time off and hope she'll be able to get some more as the team readies itself for another run. I think Coach Rose is aware and cares deeply for his players, but he has to balance that with his desire for results. Not an easy job.
