looking like a #1 recruiting class now! Hmm. She is #71 prep ace. Which in theory means 70 players ranked above her. She is 6' tall and that is her listed height on a club roster which is almost always inflated. I'll wait and see how this impacts the 2018 class.

From the 2014 class, Anae Adore of Utah was #79, Beth Nordhorn of North Carolina was #72 and Heidi Thelen of Penn State was #61. Among the descriptions of Allyson are: athletic; powerful; dynamic; 10-0 touch; physical blocker with good penetration; versatile hitter who is still improving on serve-receive; potential to be a six-rotation player. You're right, we'll all need to wait and see. Still, I'm pleased for us and for her. Welcome Allyson!

From the small samples of her youtube videos, your description seems to be right on. A very good get for the good guys.

There's also an ESPN video of Allyson playing in the 2017 AAU Volleyball Nationals for Asics KIVA 17 Red vs. Illini Elite 17 Cardinal. I can't get a link, but if someone can post one, there's nice commentary about Allyson and several big swings by her. I believe this is the video you were referring too. Allyson is wearing the KIVA Red # 2 jersey.

Allyson, my family, and I are thrilled to be a part of the Penn State volleyball family. Our visit last weekend was nothing short of phenomenal, and there was no hesitation or doubt when coach Rose offered Allyson a scholarship to attend Penn State University. There is no question that she felt like Penn State was home and exactly where she belongs. Please see the clip below of her playing with current Penn State players in the Penn State practice for sale living during her recruiting trip m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1821265874564866&id=100000444138895

Welcome to Dignittany daddyofbeastmode2 ! Nice to have you. Can someone post this Facebook video on Youtube or somewhere? The link is asking me to login to Facebook and I don't have an account (and I don't really want one). Thanks.

I can only imagine the mix-ups we'll hear from the broadcasting crews....I remember back in 2013, they were just all amazed that Maggie Harding was subbed in. And in the front row, no less. Of course, it was Maddie Martin. This will be even more mix-up prone, IMHO.
