Minnesota gave Wisky a wooping. When these two play like this, it's pretty much game over for anyone: S. Sameday 14-2-22 .545 A. Hart 14-0-23 .609
Ugh! Indiana beating OSU really hurt. How low we've fallen as a team.

Or, how OSU played really well against is, and we didn't play so very well against them, and they didn't play very well against Indiana and Indiana played really well against them. There are many ways to look at things. (Full disclosure: I just spent an hour having tea with a Buddhist art historian and a senior Buddhist monk at the largest Buddhist monastery in Shanghai -- totally unplanned and fortuitous, like so many volleyball plays.)

OSU suffered battle fatigue against Indiana coming off the all out effort they gave against PSU. It is hard to keep up intensity game after game anyone who has played any sport will tell you the same. Look what happened to Green Bay and Minnesota after they battled to a tie, the next game they both lost to inferior opponents.

Who is the coach of Indiana now? Used to Coach at Maryland and before that he coached for Coach Rose. His name escapes me. Aird!

Your implying that Russ never had a highly rated recruiting class?

No, he's referring to Indiana where coach Aird is at.

Perhaps your experience requires that you re-name yourself as our "Dalai Lion?"

Steve Aird is the Head coach at Indiana having come from Maryland Head Coach after being a Russ assistant and after playing for the PSU men's team out of Canada. After graduating from PSU this very dedicated and enthusiastic player worked for a Nation wide Club team recruiting, teaching and helping that co. to grow.
It takes time for a team to develop the kind of teamwork required to be able to compete at every level This site does not like the tedious nature of building a team that is able to compete at all levels. You need to remember that even the darling of this site had to learn a lot about adjusting to the other people on the floor but to her credit she did the work that was required to learn and integrate her skills with her fellow floor mates
I would suggest that you review the matches against the top 10 and see the positives that are shown. Yes final scores are just final scores

"Darling of the site?" I have my suspicions. Are we talking about the 2014 B1G SOY?

Yes final scores are just final scores Right now, with Nia Reed out, we are playing with 4 or 5 new players on the floor all the time (although Taylor Leath is fully experienced, she is new to the team). Rewatching the Ohio State match, I would say that in set 2, we made errors or missed opportunities that likely would have been avoided if the setters/hitters were just a little more familiar with each other (eg: the kind of teamwork that tillie is referencing). As many have pointed out, small things make a big difference.

Any word on when Nia is returning to the court?
