Someone on VT just wrote: "She reopened her recruitment. But she still may stay with PSU." Is that another way of saying I’m looking for a better option? She is an amazing player, so she will likely succeed in any school, hopefully at Penn State 😀.

I have a wild suspicion that some poacher coach got in her ear that Russ Rose won't be around for her entire 4 years, therefore, she should go to their respective program.

Someone on VT just wrote: "She reopened her recruitment. But she still may stay with PSU." This is correct. While she might stay with Penn St, it doesn’t look good to me. She’s taking a look at Nebraska, Minnesota, and Texas for now.

PrepVolleyball confirming that Iman has indeed recommitted. “Besides Stanford landing three of the top players in the class, other news will shake up the Class of 2020 too. TAV’s 6-3 right side Iman Ndiaye decommitted from Penn State and is looking for another college now. Where she lands is going to give that school a mega-boost to be sure. Ndiaye was lights out this past weekend at the JVA West Coast Cup.
Penn State still has 6-0 outside AC Fitzpatrick of Ocala Power United 18-1 and 5-5 L/DS Maddie Bilinovic of AVC Clev Rox 17 Meredith. With Ndiaye, Penn State might have had a case for the Top 5 but most likely the Top 10 for sure. Now, who knows? Penn State did pick up 6-4 outside Elzen Macy Van Den of EC Power 18-Royal.”

Can't learn the "grind" by being babied.

I was told Ndiaye is definitely done with Penn St. She won’t say why as of yet but the lame excuse is because of the weather.

Yep, far better to be in DFW area: "But three years ago, Dallas-Fort Worth got a powerful reminder that tornadoes can hit any time of year. That year, 2015, the region experienced 76 tornadoes, a record number since 1950.Jun 27, 2018," Seventy-six tornadoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a wole lotta tornadoes.

I recall another young recruit who decided against PSU because of the weather. She started her first college season well, but suffered an injury and cooled down by the end. Maybe the weather in the South isn't as conducive to good play as some think. If you wanna be the best, you gotta learn the "grind" the hard way... blood, sweat, and tears. I'd much rather have kids on our team who really want to be there.

Amen to that Millennium, She is a very good player, But not worth having if her heart and mind are not in it. It wasn’t meant to be, better to do it now. Learning from the greatest coach in history vs wearing sandals all year round! Also, looks like it’s UCLA.

Amen to that Millennium, She is a very good player, But not worth having if her heart and mind are not in it. The good news is that we'll have a scholarship open for 2020 and beyond. Seems like there are lots of transfer opportunities nowadays. I'm sure someone of value will come along and we won't have to worry whether we can get them.

I think we'll see more of this for all programs -- both decommits and transfers -- going forward. I understand coaches like Coach Rose, who value commitment and keeping your word (as do most of us, I believe) are very frustrated by developments like this. But it appears to be the way of the future.

Sadly I do not understand that type of mentality. I come from an era when your word was your bond. And to this day that is how I operate, and will never understand people who don't.
