Attended Penn State volleyball’s 7 Star Camp for the third year in a row this afternoon at Rec Hall. I interviewed 2025 commits Marin Collins, Lexi Gin, and Gabby Nichols together for more than half an hour afterward. Fellow Penn State commit Ava Jurevicius also participated in the camp, under the watchful eye of her older sister, Caroline, but had to leave early, so I was unable to catch up with her. Alexis Ewing did not make it to the camp. Keep your eyes peeled for photos and articles to follow. KSC posed with Collins, Gin, and Nichols for a photo at mid-court after my interview with them.

Here’s an article I wrote recapping Penn State’s 7 Star Camp yesterday at Rec Hall. Echoing Cindy, Thank you Ethan from MA. June 15 is fast approaching, wonder if we see any 2026 campers committing to PSU. Personally I'm hoping Gabby DiVita commits to PSU, watched some of her club play & she has a whip of an arm & very good passer as well. Giving a bit of Ali Frantti.

Any Alexis Ewing updates? I don't recall anything since her commitment. She didn’t make it to the 7 Star Camp, but I was told she’s already touching 10’9” heading into her senior year of high school. |

Danielle Whitmire, a 6-foot-2 setter from Celina, Texas, became the first member of Penn State volleyball’s 2026 recruiting class when she announced her verbal commitment a few minutes ago. She’s a rising junior at Walnut Grove High School and plays club for Texas Advantage VBC. KSC + staff have already proven that they can recruit top talent from the East Coast and the Midwest. Getting a top recruit from the talent-rich hotbed of Texas is huge! Hopefully the first of many new Nittany Lions from the Lone Star State.
