Well NittanyLions, Let's hope you are correct and Sophie see's the wisdom of coming here and playing from day one. After all with what we have in place now she would be the cherry on top to complete the dessert.

Penn St leads for Sophie Fischer. National signing day is Wednesday but I’d be surprised if Fischer signs then. I would think she would want to take some visits now that her high school season just ended. Her team won the large school South Carolina state championship for the 2nd consecutive season.

Sorry to hear that, let's hope she also visits Happy Valley to get the complete picture.

Having followed football recruiting for far too many years (G&W Recruiting, are you listening?) and recognizing it's not a perfectly analogous situation, I can say one thing for sure: Unless you're the recruit, or her immediate family, or closest friend, or her coach, none of us can predict what will happen. I can say that whatever happens, Coach Rose will only worry about the players he has, not the players he doesn't have. I also believe as a hitter, I'd rather have Gabby Blossom as my setter than Nicklin Hames. Just my admittedly inexpert opinion.

So, so true.

Sorry to hear that, let's hope she also visits Happy Valley to get the complete picture. Fischer is visiting Happy Valley for the final regular season weekend unless she is so blown away by her visit to Lincoln. I think she may still visit Wisconsin in between the Nebraska and Penn St visits. It’s going to be interesting to say the least!

We look forward to seeing Sophie in blue, welcoming her to the Nittany Lion family, and celebrating another National Championship with her in our starting lineup.

Penn State Women's Volleyball often doesn't release any information on National Letter of Intent signings, and I haven't seen any this year. However, based on what I've been able to gather from "the Internets" ( ) all three of the 2020 recruits who were verbally committed as of yesterday (AC Fitzpatrick, Macy Van Den Elzen and Madalyn Bilinovic) appear to have signed. I'll look for confirmation tomorrow. Here's the link to our write-ups of those three players (slightly outdated, like my Slacker Staff): www.dignittanyvolleyball.com/2020-recruiting/p.s. corrected typo/braino on the spelling of the name of one of the players. Apologies for the slackerly slackedness evidenced in that error by my slackable Slacker staff.

So Sophie will be in State College this weekend watching this match? The Lions will have some added motivation to win this match.
Nyline, you got to find a way to entice her to sign. LOL!

All my fingers that are crossable are crossed. And a few toes. Best I can do.
