Hope you are right, That would be sweet. I also checked TCU's roster and she is not listed on it. I hope this isn’t a sign that Fischer is going somewhere else. I don't see any connection between this unconfirmed transfer and the undetermined (as far as I know) college choice of Sophie Fischer. FWIW, I think the tournament underscored why Penn State would be the best choice for both of them ( and to be clear, I'm not dissing or dismissing Cathey or Clark or Bailey or Fitzpatrick, or Van Den Elzen. Competition, baby!!! A team needs a minimum of three players for the two pin positions -- better five or six players. Right now, we have four returning (two of whom played sparingly). There's plenty of opportunity, someone just needs to grab it). We beat Wisconsin at the end of the season. We lost to Minnesota the next night after they effectively had a night off the night before. We played better than Minnesota, at least in our first set, against Stanford -- on Stanford's home court!!! All this with only one consistently effective OH, who is graduating. Opportunity, baby!!! Competition!!!

I agree with Nyline. If the threat of competition drives players away from PSU, then they aren’t the type of players that will be successful here. Playing on a PSU WVB team is about relentless effort, working hard to improve every day, having a never give up attitude, and focusing on team accomplishments over individual accolades.

Yes, I agree the toughest steel is forged in the hottest fire if the Penn State environment is too much for you, then, by all means, seek your career elsewhere, if you have the mental makeup and the desire to be the best you can be, then welcome, you will have a home where you are cheered and supported.

Also I'd like to take a look at Van Den Elzen if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sophie Fisher is still in high school. She graduates this year. I'll check on videos over the weekend. She is very good.

I actually had two thoughts: 1) we have room, and 2) that isn't a negative of anyone we have or will have next season. My comment on competition wasn't meant to suggest that any of our players or recruits or potential recruits don't want to compete.

Thanks Coolbean - just looked at the Nov 2019 one; she does look like the kind of terminating OH PSU needs but of course, as a raw freshman, can she score a high kill rate against Big10 opposition? She does look good though - hope we get her!

This link took me to a HUDL page with Macy's name on but nothing else. I switched (via NORD VPN) to a USA server but it came up the same. Any suggestions imnitlyn?
