Ok but it would make complete sense. No offense to the other two players but hord is the only proven middle and so is that Missouri middle. With all the moves being made rose is going for it this year. That move would make complete sense. Well, for one thing, I believe the Missouri middle blew out her knee.

We will see. At worst it makes for fun chat.

Still confused. Has Selena entered the transfer portal?

VT says she's going to UCLA. There seems to be a question about accuracy of the post.

VT says she's going to UCLA. There seems to be a question about accuracy of the post. I don't know where Serena will transfer, but she will not be playing for Penn State this coming season. There is nothing more to see here -- the program is fine and Serena has made a decision that works for her. I've heard Coach Rose say he doesn't worry about the players he doesn't have, only the ones he does have. Good advice for us here on this forum

A nice quote in this release about Muisenga's award: playeroftheyear.gatorade.com/winner/rachel-muisenga/38185. (Plus, this lists Rachel as 6-1. Who knows, but I'm going with that until PSU roster comes out, and have informed Slacker Staff to make appropriate changes to Player Matrix and projected 2021 Roster.)

Kentucky's offense was so fast, that it negated Texas' big block. Seems like the game is moving in that direction. The old slow moonball sets are disappearing. Our national team loves a fast offense, and they focus on getting players who can adapt to that style.

I have noticed that Kaitlyn loves a fast set, and is very effective with it, as is Jonni and AC

I have noticed that Kaitlyn loves a fast set, and is very effective with it, as is Jonni and AC I perceive that faster offense is more difficult to implement-less room for error and dependent on effective passing to stay in system. I noticed also that our hitters this year have different hitting preferences. One or two like a higher set farther off the net.

It's a good thing PSU's libero and DS (Hampton and Bilinovic) were probably the best passing duo in the Big Ten last season. They give PSU a chance at running a fast offense.

It's difficult for me to get players passing stats, but I can get Big Ten team stats (of teams that played in the tourney): 2.18 Penn State 2.15 Purdue 2.14 Nebraska 2.08 Ohio State 2.02 Wisconsin 1.97 Minnesota The consensus is that Big Ten passing was below average last year.

It is difficult to take lessons from last season what with all of the stops and interruptions. I felt that the passing, and other aspects, was/were affected. Hopefully, things will proceed more normally in the coming season with the customary improvements that come with consistent practice.

Certainly in comparison to what Kendall White accomplished in her final season. She covered three quarters of the back court by herself. Jenna had more options and we were in system more consistently.
