Chloe played in the second and third sets of this match. Unfortunately the stream broke at the end of the second set so I was unable to see her play in the third set. Her statistics show 4 kills on 10 attacks with 2 errors. I'm hoping she will be another Caroline Knop who at 5'8" was a six rotation player at Michigan and later was an outstanding libero at Florida. I think Chloe's listing at 5'9" may be optimistic. |

This was the first match in which Chloe Chicoine got significant playing time and she emerged as one of the stars of the match. Entering during the first set, Chloe played the rest of the way.
She had a 6-point serving run early in set 2 and scored 2 aces during the match with 1 error.
Her back row defense was outstanding with 9 digs, a couple of them spectacular. The box score shows her at 10 "successful" serve returns in 21 attempts with no errors almost matching the libero's numbers and ranking second on the team.
In the front, Chloe led the team in hitting percentage at .385 and was second in kills with 11. |
