It looks like the team washed out of the tourney yesterday w/a match record of 4/3. That's too bad for Izzy. Without knowing the level of talent on the team, it's hard to know whether that's a good result for an overperforming team, or a disappointing result for an underperforming team. |

I followed because one of the MBs is from the local HS here. It looks like in the critical match they lost, they were both deuce sets. Maybe top 1/3? But not enough for a national bid.

We’re past Valentine’s Day so it can also be high school recruits instead of transfers. Hopefully good news either way!!!

There was some chatter awhile back about a player (who had signed an NLI to Indiana) -- a Setter/RS -- but I reallly have no idea if that was just wishful thinking or there was something to it. |

Rachel Muisenga, Alexa Markley, Cassie Kuerschen, and all three Penn State coaches follow Katie Hurta on Instagram, for what it’s worth. Hurta played for the same club as Muisenga (Adversity) and was named the Gatorade Illinois Player of the Year like Muisenga. Hurta led Nazareth Academy to the 2021 IHSA 3A state championship as a senior last fall.

There’s been some speculation (for the past few weeks) that she may have been released from her NLI (from IU) and have been looking for a different program to start her college career. Could it be with PSU?  |
