Super excited for Izzy... not just because of her rank, but because she's early enrolling this winter. No more need for a transfer setter who arrives a month before the season who might or might not work out. The team will finally have a setter to train with throughout the spring and summer. That said, I think there will be some growing pains as Izzy adjusts to the college game.
Also super excited for Ava who (if I recall correctly) is also early enrolling this winter.

I too am super excited. I'm thinking Jess will stick around, knowing she will have a top setter next year. Maybe we can grab another top pin hitter from the portal as well.  PS - Before anyone reads too deeply into my post, I'm only referring to next season, no insinuations about this year's roster. |

Wait, Izzy is ranked # 1 and Ava # 4 overall nationally or just their respective positions?!
If so, that's awesome. Are these PrepVB rankings?
EDIT: Also just noticed that Izzy is now from Florida? Did her family move from Colorado?

Did her family move from Colorado? Izzy is ranked No. 1 overall, regardless of position, by Prep Dig. Ava is ranked No. 5 overall by PrepVolleyball.com. Starck is playing her senior season for Viera High School. In fact, she just led the Hawks to a 3-1 win over Chiles High School tonight to advance to tomorrow’s Florida 6A state championship match. |
