Fischer is visiting Happy Valley for the final regular season weekend unless she is so blown away by her visit to Lincoln. I think she may still visit Wisconsin in between the Nebraska and Penn St visits. It’s going to be interesting to say the least!
So Sophie will be in State College this weekend watching this match? The Lions will have some added motivation to win this match.
Nyline, you got to find a way to entice her to sign. LOL!
She’s supposed to be there and haven’t heard anything different. I don’t know if she’s there tonight, tomorrow, or both.

She is here. Can’t miss her. She would be a very nice addition to next years class...cross them fingers and toes!

Yes if she signs that would be nice if not oh well onto plan B.
I'll let you in on a little secret, Fischer is plan B.
Ndiaye, who decommitted and signed with UCLA was plan A.

They are both really, really good players. I wouldn't draw any conclusions about which is better based on the sequence of events. And I can guarantee you that Coach Rose and the staff aren't giving any thought to Ndiaye now. Sophie Fischer is who they want, and hopefully, she wants Penn State. Tonight certainly spoke to the enthusiasm of the fanbase, the relentless competitiveness of the team, and the superb strategy and in-game tactics of Coach Rose and the entire Penn State staff. Sheffield was thoroughly outcoached. His team looked lost.

Oh, wow, did I give off the impression that I was comparing the two? My comment was intended only from a scholarship standpoint.
In other words, from the moment Ndiaye decommited (she was obviously plan A, since she received an offer from PSU), we had a schollie to give out, hence the plan B remark.

Well, let's hope they don't have a letdown against Minny tonight and have Sophie see the wisdom of coming here.

BTW, did you all see Ethan's paragraph on this in his WI wrap-up?
"... Heralded 2020 recruit Sophie Fischer, a 6-foot-5 outside hitter from South Carolina who’s currently uncommitted, was in attendance for the win...."

Oh yeah.
She can be seen halfway through the 5th set on camera, or so I'm told.

As I was going to my seat last night, I saw Sophie and she was sporting a Penn State parka. That's a good sign, right?

If I were her parent, I'd be thinking about travel. I'd want to see her more regularly than the off chance at UMD, Rutgers or PSU. From my lips to God's ear...
