As evidenced by the hair, obviously a lot of electricity in the building.

Why does ESPN think this Holly Rowe interview is more important than the game? ESPN does that kind of stuff all the time for all sports. Its annoying. Here they have the best team calling the game and they insist on doing unneeded stuff. They used to have Maria what's-her-name, she used to play volleyball at Georgia and works ABC's lead college football game. She was very good. I know she did it in 2013.

Here's something I never knew, and that amazes me: Jenna Gray (Stanford's 1st Team AVCA All-American setter) was second in the NCAA Track & Field Championships in the Javelin. Oh my.

If Alade is a MD next year, I don't want to need medical attention there. I'm getting a medic alert bracelet made up saying "No Alade." I think maybe Karch meant she wants to be in medical school next year.

What so special about Mary Lake that all VT mad about? She's not from PSU I think I agree with you, but I would put it differently: they're mad that a PSU player (Kendall White) was picked ahead of her. The ESPN crew certainly was out in force to pump her up. I don't think her play was all that exceptional tonight -- though I'll confess, I was having difficulty keeping focus on the match, it was pretty boring to me. ESPN also went all out for Morgan Hentz -- who I really do think is deserving of the hype. One thing to note: In the post-PSU Stanford press conference, I asked Hambly what he thinks about Kendall White. He said she's a great player (that was pretty much a predictable answer -- she is, and why not say it when your team won). But Hambly also said that Kendall covers a huge amount of court, and that Stanford doesn't have anyone who covers that much court. Now, that's different from saying that Hentz couldn't cover the same amount of court, but it was interesting to me anyway.

Kourtney Lyle(?) loaded to the gills with meth or some other stimulant, makes Nell look reserved, and Dunning looked like he was gonna choke.
