PSU beat up Kent State today 63-10.
Also, BYU beat #6 Wisconsing - could be a foretelling of what's to come in the final 4 of VB.

PSU gets a break on a pass interference call, goes up 14-7 early in the 2nd Qtr.
Missed FG, missed opportunities, PSU clings to 21-17 lead at half.
Fell asleep, woke up to PSU leading 42-24 early in the 4th Qtr. If I pulled a Rip Van Winkle, might they win a National Championship?
PSU scores last 42 points for a 63-24 win.
tOSU next week? How 'bout that Urban Meyer? Wotta guy!

They've been scoring a lot of points in the 4th qtr, which is a good sign. Scored like 24 points in the 4th last night.
OSU will be tough, but we play them at home. I think we can take them if our defense makes some stops.

Watched an ESPN guy (Tom Rinaldi?) interview Meyer this morning; Meyer didn't look very impressive or believable. I think a PSU win would be a good step in Urban's path to achieving emotional well-being.

PSU up 13-7 at the half. Should've been 13-0. Fumble at PSU's 25 yard line with 2.5 minutes remaining in the 1st half was costly.

That was one of the worst play calls I have ever seen in that situation. Do they have a high school playbook? Two timeouts and that’s what they came up with.

Franklin just isn’t a elite coach. How many times over last three years have we seen horrible game management at end of the big games. They continue to blow games at end they have no business losing.

I don't think he should've taken that time-out after OSU's time-out. I think the players started overthinking it and got cold.

Certainly, PSU put forth incredible effort, especially to come back from a 14-13 deficit and get a 26-14 lead. From that point, however, with the game on the line, they were outplayed. It was maddening watching the OSU ball carriers make long gains virtually untouched. And, it was sad that PSU was unable to run off more of the clock or establish a scoring drive. Could I have called better plays? Are you kidding? As a fan, do I have a right to vetch? I think I do.
