As Elliot intimated, a banner first round by PSU Wrestlers. All nine wrestlers won, 5 of then--Lee, Nolf, Joseph, Nickal, and Cassar got pins. I think Rasheed and Hall had major decisions. PSU has the team lead.
ESPN3's online coverage is very user friendly. I didn't miss a single PSU match--most of PSU's top seeds were on ESPNU.
I'll link the GOPSUSPORTS write up as it becomes available. Coverage on ESPN resumes this evening at 7:00 PM EDT.

PSU hit some speed bumps in the second round; Bravo-Young, Berge, and Rasheed lost their second-round matches. I missed Nick Lee's match, but he won. Bo Nickal got a pin, Nolf got a technical fall, and Cassar got a major decision. Joseph and Hall won their matches. I'll post the GOPSUSPORTS write-up when it becomes available.
Nolf's Technical Fall had a nice revenge factor. His opponent, Rutgers' Van Brill was his opponent in a poorly officiated match in which he suffered a dislocated knee.

I was wondering if that was the same guy. Nolf really punished him -- not doing anything wrong, but putting him in probably very uncomfortable/this really hurts positions.

Unofficial team scores show Penn State still in first with 63 points ahead of Ohio State with 58. However, Rasheed is on the matt now in consolations and seems to be headed for a bonus point.
Edit: Rasheed got a major and can still finish as high as 3rd. Nickal got a major and moves into the semis. OSU seems to be the top competitor in the team race.
Edit: Penn State went 6-0 in quarterfinals. Placement points!

RBY and Berge won their first-round consolation matches. Semifinals will be tough. I'll post the link to the GOPSUSPORTS write-up when it is released.

Berge lost second round consolation bout and is first of our 9 to bow out of the tournament. (Edit: Rasheed lost and is out)

Shakur and Berge are out. Both snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
The good news is that we have six heading into the semis and RBY is still alive in the pigtails.

Shakur just didn't seem to have "it" this year. I don't know what to make out of Berge. That's a problem for next year. For tonight, I hope Cassar has figured out more that Steveson.

An exciting and pretty good semifinal, five out of six moving ahead. Tough loss by Nick Lee, lucky win by Jason Nolf (did the refs give him a few benefits of the doubt?), nail biters from Vincenzo Joseph and Mark Hall, Bo's 59th pin, and Anthony Cassar defeating Steveson for a second time--despite the refs trying to even things after Nolf.
Tomorrow, Nolf needs to severely punish Tyler Berger (what a jerk!), and everybody's got a tough match--would we have it any other way?
I'll post the link from GOPSUSPORTS later.
