Thanks for trying guys, I've tried the links you suggested but none of them work in England. I've sent an email and Twitter message to BTN asking them to make it available in England but I'm not optimistic I'll even get a reply. Using VPN might work. E.g. Install Hola VPN on your browser. Goodluck!

David, On another subject, If you do come back you really should fly to newark n.j. (ewr), United Airlines fly's from Heathrow to Newark. You can go to ( Kayak ) to find the cheapest flights. It is so much easier than JFK.

Swings and roundabouts stillkicking - if I use Heathrow then I've got to drive into London and back again home) which sensible English people avoid at all costs Birmingham or Manchester airports are 1 hour from my house, Heathrow is 3 hours - and that's on a good day! Will have a look at Kayak though. Thanks

Been talking to my boss (aka wife) and we've decided we're both coming in 2020! Three early decisions: 1) Flying to Newark NJ instead of JFK, 2) Coming in Oct/Nov when Conference games have started, 3) Not coming when there is a football game on!
Only been home for 3 days and already excited about next year's trip!

I'll be going from East Midlands Airport (20 mins drive from my house) to Dublin with a local airline. It's a very cheap frequent flight. Then Dublin to NJ which is a direct route, by a separate airline. Won't start pricing till after Christmas but that's definitely the route we'll be doing. Essential to go via Dublin as they do US Customs Pre-Clearance there so when you get to the US you just walk straight out the airport.

Saves you 1.5 hrs of driving and about $100 in airfare. Per Kayak, on a random day in December, Nonstop roundtrip DUB-PHL is $350 on Aer Lingus compared to $441 DUB-EWR. You will avoid the NJ turnpike rush hour and I-76 in Philly drives you straight to the PA turnpike towards State College.

That's great info KittanningLion - I'll most certainly consider flying to Philly. Also means I'll see a part of the US I didn't see on the first trip. Thanks!
